Another day, another outfit.

After trying on the outfit for Caleb's dedication, we found out the neck of the outfit was too small...not to mention the cuffs didn't button. What can I say, the boy is getting big. Tammy and I made our way to Burlington Coat Factory for a bigger size. Unfortunately, there was no larger size. So after coming home with two more choices, we finally made a decision. But no decision was made until he tried on both outfits. Let us know what you think, and we'll show you which outfit made the cut next weekend.

Over the past month...

The past month, we have been staying with Uncle Jim and Tia while our home is finished. Just around the corner, there is a pond. Knowing how fond of ducks Caleb is, we took him over there this past week and got some pictures. Also, last weekend, Tammy and I found a little outfit for Caleb's Baby Dedication at our church, Faithbridge, scheduled for next weekend, Sept. 7th. Check back next weekend for more updates.

Chatty Days and Sleepless Nights

Its so hard to believe that our little Baby Boy is growing into a Toddler. Seems like little changes happen until that 6 month mark, then BOOM!!! He talks, rolls over, crawls...well at least backwards...oh, and is up periodically through the night. So much so, Tammy and I have been alternating nights just so the other can get some rest. And the bad part about this is, is that no one has much sympathy. "You have a 6 month old. What did you expect." says the manager of one of my service accounts yesterday. Little did she know, this baby boy has been sleeping through the night since he was 5 weeks. So the idea of waking up every few hours to change a diaper, feed a bottle, or just reposition him in his crib, and turn on the womb bear, is a little different than what we were used to.
This morning about an hour before our alarm went off, we were greeted by our little "chatter box". For the next hour or so, we changed, fed, and even got a few smiles, out of our little guy before he was lulled to sleep by the gentle sounds of our local radio station...the alarm clock!!! *sigh* I'll post video of a conversation we were witness to last night at the dinner table, later on this evening...that is if the Sandman doesn't get to me first.

Caleb will soon be doing our taxes.

Its about time he earned his keep around here. Soon after we learned of his talent we enrolled him into the Houston School of Finance. He starts next week.

Caleb rolls over !!!

Leave it to Caleb to wait for an audience to roll over. Enjoy!

6 months?!?!

I know its hard for me to believe too. This little guy who has brought us so many sleepful nights (Thats right I said 'sleepful') is 6 months old. To say that time goes by quickly is a definite understatement. Well, since our last post, we have seen significant progress on the house, still haven't closed on the condo, and have seen Caleb eat Fruits, Veggies, and a variety of meat...all blended beyond all recognition, but very tasty. We'll keep everyone updated on our bouncing (another understatement) baby boy and all his new discoveries with a speedier turnaround of picture to website. Enjoy the pictures.

Thank God for prunes!!! Who knew babies had so much trouble filling a diaper...I know Mom, "TMI".

Caleb playing on his stackable animal post.

I'm sure I'll see this face quite often when I go to get a cookie only to find an empty jar.

Bath time had become more fun since we started a little playtime after the scrubbing.

A few morning last week, Caleb decided to beat Mommy and Daddy's alarm clock set for 5:15 AM. So while Mommy and Daddy get ready to start the day, Caleb gets to have a bit of playtime.

Rough Night...

After all the excitement of a pending Tropical Storm or potential hurricane in the Houston area, Tammy and I woke up this morning to Caleb's unusual method of dealing with his first southern storm. *This was not a set-up. He placed the "pacy" all on his own*
